The FAIRWAVE app may process app functionality data such as location information, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection information, device status, device identifiers, and technical records needed for map display, positioning, device connection, control, troubleshooting, and service operation.

How we use information

We use information to provide app functionality, respond to inquiries, communicate about our products and services, maintain reliability, protect our systems, and meet legal or compliance obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help operate our app, website, or communications, or when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

When you use FAIRWAVE map and course features, map, positioning, device, usage, and diagnostic information may be processed by our mapping and course-data service providers, including AMap (AutoNavi), Google Maps, and iGolf, as needed to provide map imagery, positioning, course boundaries, distance calculations, hazard information, and service reliability. These providers process information under their own privacy policies. FAIRWAVE does not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Your choices and device permissions

FAIRWAVE asks for your privacy consent before initializing Bluetooth, local-network, location, or map services. You can decline and continue to view the app without connection, control, or positioning features. You can review your choice and system permissions at any time from the app's Legal & Privacy and Privacy & Permissions settings.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to help protect information from unauthorized access or misuse.

FAIRWAVE users can request deletion of app-related data by following the steps on our Data Deletion Request page.
